Finance Manager - Turkey, FinOps
Description Amazon Finance Operations is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to support operations in our Turkish entity. The successful candidate will have a strong desire in continuous improvement, process standardization and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, primarily driving innovation on behalf of customers / vendors. The biggest focus area is Accounts Payable within our vendor relationships with emphasis on financial transactions, such as invoices and credits. The successful candidate would manage Turkish operations reporting to local AP manager but cooperating with a broad management team across the globe. Key job responsibilities Main business areas: Accounts Payable - Contact management (managing customer questions and complaints through our online tools) - Creation and management of our KPI’s - Executive metrics reporting People Management: - Leading and developing a team of financial analysts, including hiring, training, and employee development; managing group workload and establishing priorities; - Ensuring existing policies and procedures are followed; managing annual performance targets; creating and monitoring appropriate performance metrics. - This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving complex issues with internal and external business partners. Project Management: - Solving complex customer/vendor issues and proactively heading off negative service trends. Understanding and correctly utilizing resources provided by internal systems, departments, policies, and procedures. - Development, analysis and improvement of new strategies and procedures. - The successful candidate will have the ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-term goals. - Developing and achieving performance goals and objectives in order to achieve customer expectations. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor degree in accounting or finance or related analytical background. MBA,CPA,ACCA preferred. - Ability to read, write and speak English & Turkish fluently. - Microsoft office skill needed, advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) experience - 5+ years of Accounting/Finance/Operations experience, or a related analytical field experience - 5+ people manager experience, ability to applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses Preferred Qualifications - Experience mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience - Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - 3+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience - Project management experience preferred. - MBA, or CPA Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
