GFS Commercial FP&A Team is at the heart of the AZ Finance function. We are accountable to the AZ Group for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes which, combined with exceptional business analysis and insight, enable our customers to focus on AZ’s strategic priorities.

Your core accountabilities will include:

Preparation and consolidation of monthly business performance reportsSupport in budgeting and planning process across EMEA marketsProcess documentation / update of manuals and team proceduresAd-hoc report preparation for special projectsMonth End Closing (MEC) - GL trend analysis, Journal Entries (accrual posting, reclasses), Intercompany invoicing, preparing month end reportsFinancial Planning & Analysis - planning tool usage, headcount review, manpower cost and opex cost calculation, preparing analysis and explanations, result commentariesCapex project accounting – MEC and planning tasksProject support – using financial and system knowledge to help budget owners with decision making.

Essential for the role:

Willingness to work and develop in financePursuing a degree in Finance/Business/Mathematics/Economy or similarFinancial knowledgeExperience with Excel and Power Point softwareEnglish Language proficiency (written and spoken)Excellent interpersonal skillsGood analytical skills & eye for detail

The internship will last 12 months.

Please remember that we work in a hybrid scheme, be prepared to work partially office based (minimum 3 days per week).
