Ensure a strong and efficient expense management system in GCR and drive productivity in the region. Drive business and operation, manage the financial planning & analysis, internal control of the region, drive business performance and the delivery of the business and financial plans.
You are responsible for
As a Sellex Controller, manage Sellex of the Health System businesses, including planning, analyzing and reporting of the Sellex and provide transparencyDrive productivity of the organization to ensure sellex at healthy level, track productivity funnel and establish/control link of productivity into the P&LSet up management system to ensure accountability of expense management by each function and business, dedicated and sharedMonthly tracking and analysis of Selling expense performance by cost center/ department/ business, identify gaps, and drive corrective actionsAs a Finance BP, responsible for BU full P/L performance, including topline growth and selling expense control, delivery of the business and financial plans.Analyze and report on regional performance by means of: Monthly performance, Annual Budget, Quarterly forecast, Strategic Review, cost control, Target Setting etc.Ensure correct and timely Philips, statutory and fiscal reportingEnsure a strong and efficient internal control system in place in the regionCoordinate operational planning process and performance management and drives for the delivery of the committed resultsCross functional coordination with accounting, GBS, global FP&A team, supporting functions, enabling functions, to facilitate daily operation.Participate in various x-Sector/Market Finance improvement projects, often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.Business integrity: adherence to FCPA and GBP in cooperation with Legal & HR.Other ad hoc support to business/regionYou are a part of
Professional Finance team of Philips China, base in Shanghai, report to Finance Business Partner, Greater China.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance and/ or Accounting orientated studyAt least 6 years finance related working experience, including solid basis and experience in Accounting & Internal ControlQuick learner and open mindedStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsIntellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through dataRequires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationshipHaving wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways Can work independently with limited supervision, self-motivated, flexible, resilient, can work under pressureAdvanced technical skills in Excel, ERP (SAP preferred) and PowerPoint, familiar with business procedures in China, basic tax knowledgeFluent in both Chinese and English, oral and writtenCPA or equivalent accounting license holder is a plus.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
