As a Finance Associate within the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. Your role involves the delivery of value-added financial reporting and analysis to direct strategic direction and decision-making, while also collaborating with managers and peers across Business Management and Financial Planning & Analysis teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the development of annual financial budgets and associated forecasts in tandem with business factors, initiatives, and investments. Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial results, providing insightful commentary on changes from previous forecasts and budgets. Support the production of monthly/quarterly and ad hoc reporting of results for senior management. Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible. Work on projects to push global consistency and create synergies across Finance Management, Business Management, and Planning & Analysis teams.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, within the banking or financial services industry. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables. Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

Experience with LiveDataset/Krescendo. Knowledge of or experience with BI tools, databases, and SQL querying.
