Facilities Services Coordinator

The Position

The Facilities Services Coordinator, Buildings and Grounds, is responsible for bringing best-in-class workspaces and facilities that align with Roche’s mission, values, and objectives. Leveraging good knowledge of common building systems, the Facilities Services Coordinator coordinates a diverse group of service vendors to complete both preventative and corrective maintenance across campus.

Delivers exceptional customer service to internal customers through effective communication and work order coordination. Regular interaction with key stakeholders, the Sites & Services team, and contract vendors offers the Facility Services Coordinator the chance to demonstrate their relationship-building skills to the fullest. 


 

The Opportunity:

Manage the work order queue, ensuring that work is updated and completed promptly.

Diagnose building facilities issues to determine appropriate action.

Schedules both preventative/corrective work while paying special attention to customer needs and schedules.

Guides service vendors responsible for completing repairs, upkeep, supply ordering, and general services following the direction of the Facilities Manager and the agreement terms and conditions.

Responsible for assisting service providers with security badge access and prequalification, escorting, systems access, and daily logistics.

Perform menial facilities repairs that include, but are not limited to, changing ceiling tiles, lubricating door components, etc.

Issue purchase orders to service vendors.

Onboards new vendors and works with procurement to establish vendor profiles.

Conduct monthly and quarterly janitorial inspections to ensure contract adherence.

Performs routine facility inspections as requested by the Facilities Manager.

Assists the Facilities Site and Services Coordinator with work planning and coordination.

Participates in monthly and quarterly business reviews on applicable contract service providers supporting the Facilities Manager.

Who you are:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 6 years of related maintenance experience.

Ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships.

Ability to communicate across functional lines and at all levels.

Problem-solving and project coordination skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in dealing with technical matters.

Strong computer skills. 



 

Preferred requirements:

Associate's degree in a technical field.

Apprenticeship program or technical school background.

Knowledge of reliability-based maintenance concepts.

Google Workspace experience.

CMMS experience - SAP preferred (Angus, Corrigo, Maximo)

Pay transparency

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Indianapolis, is 55,300.00 - 102,700.00 USD Annual.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
