The J.P. Morgan Wealth management business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and comprised of the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Securities and our digital investing platform. The combined business has $400 billion in Assets under management and 4,000 advisors who work out of 3,500 branches and 21 offices and the Events Marketing Sr Associate will support event execution for the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business.
As an Events Marketing Sr. Associate within the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business, you will utilize your extensive event execution experience to formulate event marketing strategies, goals, and objectives that enhance JPMorgan's reputation. You responsibilities will include managing event logistics and closely collaborating with the Affluent events manager, retail bank, and regional sales leadership to cater to the needs of clients and potential customers of JPMorgan Wealth Management. You will also work in close partnership with various teams across JPMC and departments within the business. Your role will be under the Mass Affluent event team, reporting to the Head of Thought Leadership Events and Content, and you will be a part of the broader Inclusive Investing & Events team within the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management marketing organization.
Job responsibilities:
Manage overall event planning logistics – end to end– serve as main contact booking speakers, venues, creating menus, etc.; additional logistical tasks including the registration processes – Website Development & Maintenance; Client Communications i.e. Invites, event reporting - daily registration reports; post-event client identification # collection and analytics to understand program/engagement impacts to business goalsManage team operations to include budget: maintain document budgets; works with Accounts Payable to process invoices and track expenses, sourcing/contracting –submit and work through speaker/vendor contractsSupport TPO Vendor Management –onboard & manage relationships with new/existing vendorsDocument team processes as they become solidifiedDevelop and maintain a detailed events calendar for the business, in close collaboration with Chase Private Client, Business Banking & Private Bank events teamManage and develop event registration tools/platforms
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
5+ years prior experience in event planning and execution, including vendor contract negotiations and processesExperience planning and executing large-scale and smaller-scale events that are brand-relevant and are executed at the high quality for affluent and high net worth clientsExtensive experience running virtual events – knowledge of working with production and online companies to run virtual eventsEnjoys working with others & can build strong relationships with various partner teams; strong organizational and project management skillsA passion for detail and an ability to think creatively is criticalAbility to work independently as well as part of a team to ensure the needs of the group are met.Excellent oral and written communications skillsAble to think and react quickly during event execution and able to work fluidly when overseeing events; discretion around private client information a mustWillingness to work in fast-paced environment and beyond traditional business hours when necessary.Ability to travel (could be 60%) – usually Monday-FridayStrong proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPointPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
