Your role and responsibilitiesAs an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is onsite in Arecibo, PR. This role is contributing to the ELSP Americas Hub, Arecibo’s Manufacturing Site.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCollaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.•\tLeveraging insights about customer needs and ABB’s offerings to identify suitable solutions for clients, leading to project results that meet customer expectations.•\tParticipating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.•\tSeeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
Qualifications for the role\tCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, in the United States.\tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. \tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. \tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.\tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.\tExhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.\tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
