Purpose of Role:
The Engineer - Manufacturing drives a zero-defect process in performance technical specifications (PTS). Responsibilities include timely creation of production bills of materials (PBOM) and routings, daily monitoring and resolution of production variances and goods movement errors, and assisting production supervisors and end users. The role also involves supporting BOM changes, updating key reports, and maintaining the rolling plan and order status.
Additionally, the Engineer will drive key performance indicators (KPIs), produce reports and presentations, and undertake continuous training and development. Performing root cause analysis and resolving problems are fundamental, requiring strong analytical skills and a proactive approach. These efforts significantly contribute to the success and efficiency of manufacturing operations
Key Responsibilities:
On-time creation and change management of PBOM and Part Routings
Tracking of production variance and analysis
Data Management and Monitoring of production metrics linked to SAP PP ( PTS)
Support manufacturing SAP end users and planners for uninterrupted order / billing process support

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelors of Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
2-3 years of considerable knowledge on the SAP PP module
Exposure to the manufacturing industry is preferred
Experience in a similar role involving process improvement and production management
Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing reports, making presentations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
