HR Intern – 6 to 12 months contract (full time)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a People & Organization Intern. In this role, you will provide confidential coordination and project support to the People & Organization team that supports multiple client groups. This intern role will be focused on insights and analytics and we are looking for someone creative who likes working with data mining and building dashboards.
Responsibilities:
Create and review reports, prepare communication and presentations, and coordinate benefits activities and special projects, ensuring compliance with HR policies. Build rapport with client groups, provide assistance on HR issues, and manage onboarding scheduling for new employees. Support administrative tasks for the HR team, maintain personnel files, and ensure accurate updates for employee benefits and related inquiries. Lead the updating of the People & Organization SharePoint page, assist with tracking analytics, and manage key HR processes such as exit interviews and contract renewals. Collaborate with vendors for training and events, and work on special projects as directed by the HR Director and VP, maintaining clarity on objectives and accuracy in execution.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a strong interest in insights and analytics. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint, with a solid understanding of HR policies and procedures. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
