Document Management Tester - UAT testing - Associate

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Document Management Testing  team to partner with the Business.

As an Associate within the Document Management Solutions team, you will be responsible for conducting both technical and UAT testing of our solutions, leveraging testing automation technology. Your duties will encompass reviewing programmed documents to establish test cases, setting up data sets, and utilizing testing tools to generate test artifacts for comparison with control documents. You will also be involved in integrated system testing, which may include end-to-end testing of data capture via the user interface and testing of generated documents. Collaborating with Business Analysts, Document Developers, and User Acceptance Testers will be a key part of your role. Your tasks will include establishing test cases, executing tests, tracking progress, and reporting. You will be required to document defects in JIRA, monitor their resolution, and collaborate with engineering teams to identify opportunities for test automation to minimize manual testing efforts.

Job responsibilities

Review User Stories, programmed templates, and other requirements documents to develop test cases and scenarios Understand all cross impacts when end-to-end systems are involved, and incorporate appropriate test cases into test plan as needed Perform technical testing on documents and documentation systems using automated testing tools Perform integrated system document testing as required Compile summary information related to defects as requested Manage defects in JIRA; escalate issues as required Track testing results from business users during UAT Participate in all required meetings: project meetings, Product Backlog Refinement sessions, Sprint Planning and Retrospective sessions Identify opportunities for further testing automation and advise engineering teams on priorities, automation approaches Integrate new test automation scripts into ongoing regression and new functionality testing cycles

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required A minimum of 3 working as an analyst or tester in the financial services market or software industry, or five years working in legal document preparation Demonstrated experience in leveraging test automation tools (Selenium) to automate repetitive tasks, including running of automation tools, taking action on results, and familiarity with test automation engineering concepts Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management, both written and verbal  Experience with document testing - Setting up data to generate variations of documents, Generating documents, Testing documents against legal masters or requirements documents Experience with legal documents Experience writing and executing test cases Experience with software development testing methodologies The ability to map changes in data to changes in text Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint
