Division Finance Executive, Consumer Lines

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support Consumer Line’s (A&H and IPL) financial management reporting function. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the timely delivery of all financial reporting requirements. This role requires close collaboration with various internal stakeholders (business leaders, finance and operations teams etc) and will report to the Consumer Division Financial Officer. 

 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities 

Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and presentation decks for business teams, providing in-depth analysis to support strategic initiatives and facilitate decision-making

  Budget and Forecasting Support: Assist in the coordination and compilation of submissions from business heads for the annual budget process and monthly forecasts, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all data

  Monthly Production Monitoring: Oversee tracking process for Consumer production bookings, identify and report on issues or anomalies and take appropriate action with relevant parties

  Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with business heads to provide advice and guidance on financial reporting requirements, fostering a strong partnership to 

  Data Visualization: Transform complex data into insightful and easily digestible formats, provide clear and concise narratives to support key points

  Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis, while developing and refining automation capabilities for existing and new reporting requirements
  Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as required to support specific business needs, new projects, or strategic changes

Required Skills & Experience 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with 1-3 years working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to applyPrevious work experience in an insurance or financial institution, or a background in FP&A is advantageousAbility to learn and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and capable of working independently with minimal supervisionPossess strong analytical and communication skills, coupled a deep sense of responsibility and initiativeAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, experience with financial/data systems or software (e.g., TM1, Cognos and PowerBI) is a plusBasic coding skills (e.g., SQL, VBA etc.) are an advantage
