Job Overview: The Director Digital will be responsible for leading digital teams and driving forward the digital delivery strategy to support the Stantec operations across multiple geographies. This role requires a strong focus on people leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to leverage technology to enhance business operations and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities: - People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage digital teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Ensure team members are motivated, engaged, and aligned with the company's goals. - Digital Strategy: Develop and implement digital strategies that align with the company's objectives and the office of the CTO. Drive initiatives to enhance digital presence, improve customer engagement, and streamline business processes. - Technology Implementation: Oversee the implementation of digital technologies, mobile applications, and website development. Ensure these technologies are effectively integrated into business operations. - Project Management: Manage digital projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Collaborate with various business centres and regional operating units. - Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization to understand their needs and ensure digital initiatives meet business requirements. Communicate progress and outcomes to senior management. - Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest digital trends and technologies. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the digital teams and business processes. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. - Experience: 15+ years experience in a leadership role within a digital or technology-focused environment. Experience in the AEC industry is a plus. - Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of digital technologies, mobile applications, and website development. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. - Leadership Skills: Excellent people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Analytical Skills: Ability to think strategically, analyse data and make informed decisions.
