Director, Enterprise Strategy

WSP USA is seeking a highly experienced and strategic **Director, Enterprise Strategy** to join our dynamic team in **Boston, MA** or **Washington, DC** . As the Enterprise Strategy Director, you will play a crucial role in elevating WSP's presence and influence within the transportation and infrastructure industry. This position requires a deep understanding of industry associations, infrastructure development agencies, client engagement, business development, and infrastructure projects.
Your Impact
+ Assist in Executive-level engagement with client leadership across the country in transit and rail sectors.
+ Strategic business development with focus on solving complex safety, capital, operational, administrative, and labor challenges.
+ Lead or support special projects for client executives.
+ Identify areas of strategic growth for WSP, whether geographic, recruitment, or services, and support business planning to achieve growth.
+ Collaborate closely with WSP colleagues across Regions and Business Lines, leading through influence and building a strong internal network.
+ Support WSP's participation in select key associations, such as, but not limited to, APTA, AREMA, COMTO, Eno, and TRB.
Who You Are
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering.
+ Minimum of 25 years of experience in the transit and rail industry.
+ Executive management experience in a large urban public transportation system.
+ Management experience with capital projects, transit operations, and maintenance across bus, light rail, heavy rail, and commuter rail, and ferry modes.
+ Extensive experience with labor relations.
+ Strong network within transit and rail industry associations.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
+ Strong organizational and project management skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master’s Degree is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
Expected Salary: $250,800 - $350,000
