Diagnostic Marketing Manager

Currently we are looking for Diagnostic Marketing Manager who will build long-term partnerships with relevant external stakeholders and decision makers in the complex rare diseases ecosystem, based on a deep scientific understanding of diagnostic tests and the clinical operational issues on the testing pathway, enabling tailored testing solutions to be developed and maintained.

Key responsibilities:

Develop Strategic Partnerships

Assess different testing options in the market and select and qualify diagnostic partners and labsIdentify issues in current testing landscape and work with external stakeholders to develop solutions to remove or minimize diagnostic barriers to therapy use, e.g., by optimizing testing pathways;Develop testing pathway robustness in all relevant clinical centres, including local protocol support, working on identifying and removing bottlenecks in testing pathways, e.g., in counselling;Work cross functionally to identify innovative access / reimbursement solutions for companion diagnosticsWork pro-actively with Scientific societies to endorse personalized healthcare (diagnostic and medicines) in the guidelines

Monitor and Improve Testing Performance

Monitor testing quality and performance and take proper actions for improvementOrganize CFT-meetings to report resultsUtilise diagnostics related evidence for medical education activity (e.g., medical evidence, real-world evidence and epidemiology) and identify evidence gaps for either global or local plans to bridge;

Develop diagnostic strategy

As part of Product Business Plan, develop, evaluate and deliver the national diagnostic strategy for the current and future RD products, play a role in shaping national policy, reimbursement of tests and therapeutic guidelinesGenerate diagnostics-related insight to shape national brand strategy and tactics as part of Annual Business Plan (Disease Plans/Brand Plans/MTP Plans/PhB plans);Monitor and propose improvement plans for diagnostic related brand performance;Ensure in-market companion diagnostics / testing excellence for all product launches, including market readiness evaluation;

Build capability in internal and external stakeholders

Act as an expert and educational resource to external and internal stakeholders;Deliver diagnostic related educational initiatives including meetings, exhibitions, congresses/symposia, digital activities and trainings – outside and inside the companyGive relevant stakeholders in the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and Decision Making Unit (DMU) and testing labs a stronger understanding of the diagnostic landscape, challenges and potential testing solutionsDevelop diagnostic expertise in cross-functional team i.e. Marketing, Medical, Sales, Market AccessEngage with, lead and partner with all members of the cross-functional team on all diagnostic related activities to ensure AZ's RD products' launch readiness and optimal launch of therapy;Provision of key inputs to P&MA strategy build and implementation including pricing and reimbursement cases for therapy and associated diagnostic testsDevelop and implement AI based solutions for advanced diagnosis and patients identificationDevelop and implement innovative diagnostic and transforming care solutions advancing care and optimizing diagnostic pathways for patients with rare diseases

Candidate profile:

Medical / Pharmacy / Life Science degree;At least 4 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry;Solid scientific and disease area knowledge in medical science (rare diseases as an asset) and drive to continually build individual knowledge over time;True understanding of market-specific diagnostic/testing environment and RD ecosystem;Granular knowledge of patients demographics, patient’s testing experience and issues with different testing options along patient journey;Strong influencing skills, ability to engage and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, to present credibility, build and maintain trustful and mutually beneficial relationships;Team player, understands is part of a cross functional team and contributes fully by sharing information and linking insights ;Drives results;Very good analytic skills but also able to see results and effects in a broader view;Customer oriented;Good command of English; Fluent Polish
