Distribution Centre Transport Coordinator – full-time, permanent – new Portfolio Brands: COS, Weekday, Monki, &Other Stories, ARKET site in Robakowo

We are opening a state-of-the-art, highly automated, BREEAM certified, Omni-Logistics Centre in Robakowo, Poland, to serve all European Portfolio Brands markets. This new warehouse will have 62K sqm and employ between 500 and 700 ambitious, committed, and motivated colleagues dedicated to fulfilling our customer promise efficiently and sustainably.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities are but are not limited to:

 

Day-to-day transport coordination between DC In- and Outbound departments and contracted carriersTruck bookings, arrival and departure timing, increase/decrease of ordered trucks and swap body pool managementMonitor filling grades, loading and unloading efficiency and returns handling.Address accumulated operational issuesProactive in- and outbound transport planning with DC in- and outbound departments and carriers.Support the business through smooth running delivery operationsEnsure that all transportation operations and processes related to outbound shipments and returns are conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures contracts, and business requirements.Organize, coordinate, and supervise transportation and logistics services and processes, including import and export activities, in compliance with the employer's regulations, procedures, and guidelines. 4. Perform transportation forecasts and related activities.5. Be responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with transportation procedures, SOPs, and contract agreements. 6. Verify the quality, safety, and contractual compliance of transportation and logistics services provided by carriers. Monitoring and acting on inbound and outbound transport KPI deviationsExecute Sustainability transport targets based on regional sustainability Strategy and targets

Deep understanding of end-to-end DC processes & garment flowSolid knowledge in regional and global operational logistics and transportation standards, & service level promise (online/ stores) as well as sustainability targetsFluent in written and verbal command of EnglishExperience in international work environmentStrong in communicating and adapting method based on circumstanceStrong operational outbound logistics expertise across Online + Stores to effectively manage and develop the DC outbound opsHolistic view to look at the bigger perspective with a visionary approachAbility to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering othersAgile mindset with positive attitude to change & meaningful growthInclusive & empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversitySelf-awareness, understanding your impact on others and contribution to the whole group

This role is a full-time and permanent position, starting as soon as possible, with direct reporting to the DC Manager. The work location is the newly build warehouse in Robakowo, Szkolna 98.

For this position you must be willing to travel on business.
