Contractor Enablement Manager
**Contractor Enablement Manager** Description: As our **Contractor Enablement Manager,** you will equip contractors with the knowledge and skills to use Gordian’s procurement solutions on construction and maintenance projects. Your expertise in content development and training delivery is key to empowering contractors with our Job Ordering Contracting (JOC) solutions, ensuring success from day one. Key Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs and workshops for contractors to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to complete construction jobs with Gordian. + Foster strong contractor relationships that result in growth in contractor-identified construction projects, contractor renewals and advocacy for Gordian. + Develop high-quality training collateral including materials, playbooks, how-to guides, and digital content to support contractors. + Offer coaching and mentorship to contractors to help them understand and implement JOC methodologies and maximize their JOC contract. + Collaborate with Contractor Engagement teammates and the Learning and Development team on content development and deployment. + Lead virtual and in-person training sessions. + Troubleshoot problems, answer questions, and provide solutions to ensure contractors can find and manage JOC projects successfully. + Work closely with Operations, Sales and Customer Success teams to deliver a seamless and supportive educational journey for contractors. + Identify areas where contractors struggle and develop training content to address critical needs. + Track contractor activity-levels (e.g., from project identification to completion) to identify contractors below expected performance and manage internal triage process. + Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics. Continuously improve our training programs to drive better performance. + Prepare daily visual management and reporting of training activities, contractor progress, and performance. + Lead initiatives to simplify what a contractor does, leveraging VOC (voice of contractor) and continuous improvement measures. + Cultivate a culture at Gordian where contractors are valued partners and treated like customers. + Ability to travel up to 50% to deliver in-person training and to understand on-the-ground realities contractors face. Qualifications + 5+ years’ experience in designing, developing, and implementing training programs. + Expert in instructional design and developing training materials that are engaging and effective for our contractor-audience. + Highly skilled at creating multimedia training content including PPT, videos, and webinars. Versed in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools like Articular Storyline or Adobe Captivate. + Candidates with familiarity with the construction industry and construction estimating software are preferred. + Certifications in training development, instructional design, or adult learning principles (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, Certified Training Development Professional) are a bonus. + Able to evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and nurture contractor relationships. + Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize needs across many contractor organizations, regions, and internal team members. + Leadership and mentorship skills to guide contractors and advocate for their needs within Gordian. **Fortive Corporation Overview** Fortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
