As a Cash Equities & Equity Derivatives Group Trading Business Manager in our team, you will act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. This dynamic role varies across different lines of business, aligning with their priorities. You will assist senior management in coordinating the deployment of corporate resources to achieve strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing new business strategies, strategic initiatives, or platforms, aligning department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance)Support efforts to optimize business performance by contributing to key initiatives (fees, cost base, RWA, and capital utilization)Help identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks that could impact our ability to operate, such as legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues, and extraordinary transaction costsAnalyze financial performance, including expenses; assist in identifying productivity initiatives and support their implementationCollaborate with the business, Operations, and Technology in defining future workflows and supporting related technology and infrastructure projects to meet evolving market requirementsWork with relevant external service/infrastructure providersRepresent the business in respective internal/external working groupsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
