**Job Description**
1. Quality Inspection Walk-through:
Conduct walk-throughs of hotel facilities (e.g., guest rooms, public areas, restaurants) to evaluate cleanliness, maintenance, etc.
Document and report any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
2. Guest Feedback Monitoring:
Review guest feedback from various channels (surveys, online reviews, and direct comments) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Assist in investigating any service failures
3. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Review:
Familiarize yourself with hotel SOPs and ensure that all operations align with brand standards.
4. Assistance with Training Programs:
Support the development and delivery of training sessions for staff on quality standards and service excellence.
Observe training sessions and provide feedback on effective practices.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of inspections, guest feedback, and training activities in the Quality database.
6. Competitive Analysis:
Research and analyze practices at competing luxury hotels to identify best practices and improvement opportunities.
Prepare presentations highlighting insights and suggestions.
7. Collaboration with Departments:
Work closely with Teams to ensure cohesive implementation of quality standards.
8. Quality Audits Preparation:
Assist in preparing for self-assessments by compiling necessary documentation and checklists.
Participate in mock audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
Additional Responsibilities
Ad-hoc Tasks Support the Quality Manager with any special projects or initiatives as required.

Property: Ultra-Luxury Five-Star Hotel
Location: Tokyo
Internship Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Generally - Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:30 PM
Educational Background:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in
- Hospitality Management
- Business Administration
- Quality Assurance / Quality Management
- Tourism Management
- Related fields
Professional Experience:
- Previous internship or work experience in hospitality, customer service, or quality assurance is a plus.
- Experience in luxury or ultra-luxury establishments preferred but not mandatory.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail: Ability to maintain high standards when reviewing reports, records, and documents.
Excellent organizational skills: Ability to consolidate and file information efficiently and accurately.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Particularly Excel for data entry and Word for report writing; familiarity with PowerPoint and Canva for presentations.
Basic data analysis skills: Ability to understand and interpret data trends for quality assurance purposes.
Effective communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication; ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
Team player: Ability to work collaboratively with the Quality Manager and other departments.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the hotel.

Familiarity with hotel management software: Exposure to property management systems (PMS) is a plus but not required.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to commit to the entire duration of the internship.
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
Willingness to undergo a background check, if required.
