This position reports to

P&L Business Partner

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business Division in Hanoi, Vietnam.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tExecuting purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.•\tApplying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.•\tSupporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.

Qualifications for the role

\tDegree in Business/Supply Chain or Foreign language discipline \t1 to 2 years of experience in Purchasing/Buying function\tKnowledge in SAP / Ariba is an added advantage\tEnglish/Vietnamese/Thai languages are mandatory as you will be liaising with both Thai & Vietnamese speaking customers
