Gestionnaire en approvisionnement et log

Your role and responsibilities

Based in Ville St-Laurent, Quebec, the buyer will report to the Director of Supply Chain Management and Logistics. The buyer will work closely with team members and in direct contact with the produc-tion and engineering departments to meet deadlines.•\tPlace material orders and ensure follow-up with suppliers.•\tReconcile disputed invoices according to purchase orders.•\tFollow up on claims and non-conformities.•\tMaintain business relationships with suppliers.•\tProduce necessary reports for supplier evaluation.•\tOversee the replacement of defective products.•\tAny other related tasks in connection with these responsibilities.

Qualifications for the role

DEC in administration or Bachelor's degree in administration. Knowledge in procurement. Knowledge of SAP (asset). Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite) Advanced Excel. Bilingualism (French and English) essential. French is required. English is necessary to communicate with clients outside Quebec on a regular basis. Demonstrate initiative, rigor, and meticulousness. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
