In 2010, Paragon 28® was established as an orthopaedic foot and ankle company. The name “Paragon 28” was chosen to reflect our exclusive focus on the foot and ankle, with the “28” representing the number of bones in the foot. From the beginning, we have remained true to that vision. Founded as a small, family-based company, we have preserved those core ideals as we have grown and evolved.
Our first product was the Monster® Screw System, soon followed by the Gorilla® Plating System. As we expanded our portfolio, we maintained an exceptional level of detail in the design of every product, offering surgeons a variety of options and recognising that there is more than one way to achieve great patient outcomes. Listening closely to surgeons and addressing their specific needs has always been, and will continue to be, central to our approach.
In April 2025, Paragon 28 proudly joined the Zimmer Biomet family, marking an exciting new chapter while remaining deeply committed to our roots in foot and ankle innovation. With Zimmer Biomet’s global reach and resources, we are poised to further our mission: to continuously improve the outcomes and experiences of patients with foot and ankle conditions.
We Eat, Sleep, and Breathe Foot & Ankle.
At Paragon28, we are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and vibrant work environment where all employees feel valued and inspired. We believe in fostering an inclusive culture that promotes and values diversity. Our company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
