We are looking for an expert with experience in large enterprises on a global scale. Your knowledge of Cisco products for branch switches and WiFi will be crucial in improving our network infrastructure and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Architecture: Define standards and create infrastructure roadmaps for branch networking and WiFi implementations. Deployment: Deploy new technologies related to LAN/WAN and WiFi, ensuring optimal configuration and performance. Automation: Enhance automation capabilities through scripting and network as code practices, working closely with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to automate manual operational tasks. Best Practices: Establish and document best practices for infrastructure design, networking, and automation processes. Troubleshooting: Act as an expert resource for complex troubleshooting and provide guidance to resolve network issues swiftly. Training: Ensure operational teams are trained on new technologies and provide ongoing support for their learning and development. Governance: Maintain governance on infrastructure standards and policies to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Performance Monitoring: Oversee network performance management and capacity planning to ensure reliable and efficient network operations.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Network Architect/Engineer in large enterprise environments with a global footprint. Demonstrated experience with Cisco products, specifically branch switches and WiFi solutions. Strong expertise in LAN/WAN design and implementation. Proficiency in managing and monitoring network performance and capacity. Experience with network automation, scripting, and network as code methodologies. Proven ability to define infrastructure standards and develop strategic roadmaps. Familiarity with troubleshooting complex network issues. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, etc.) are a plus.
