Ecolab is seeking an experienced and dedicated AZ Company Driver to join our team. In this full-time, year-round position, you will be responsible for safely delivering chemical products to various industries in Ontario and Quebec. Safely operate vehicles, including delivery trucks, tank trunks, over-the-road trucks.Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times.Perform daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspectionsLoad trailers and plan out schedule based on customer orders to meet customer delivery requirementsEnsure accurate and up-to-date delivery location maps, and operate in accordance with regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materialsMaintain driver's hours of service by using SamSara ELD reporting.Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisor in order to report field problems and/or safety hazardsWork closely with sales team to ensure customer satisfactionWear appropriate safety gear during delivery operationsKeep current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skillsRecognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environmentPosition Details:
Based out of Burlington, ON with travel through Ontario (Sarnia, Sudbury, Belleville, Toronto and surrounding areas).Some out of province travel to Quebec may be required, as needed.Scheduled deliveries will be Monday to Friday, with some overtime as needed.Schedule will vary based on customer orders, up to 3 to 4 nights of overnight travel may be required per week.
As an Industry leader, Ecolab offers a training program designed to provide the tools and resources for you to be one of the best in your field. This position requires successful completion of the 8 week in-field and classroom paid training program in order to maintain employment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalentPossess a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), with all the relevant endorsements3 years commercial driving experience5 years of an acceptable motor vehicle recordMust be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.No immigration sponsorship offered for this rolePreferred Qualifications:
