Associate Director - Client Relationship Management
**Description** **About FINMAR** The FINMAR team provides analytics, pipeline management, consultancy, and relationship management services to Financial Lines carriers. We aim to help carriers improve their proposition, competitive edge, and visibility. FINMAR works closely with the FINEX broking team to drive revenue growth, market rationalization, and improved knowledge to support better client prospecting and service. _Note: Visa employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity._ **The Role** We are seeking a seasoned Financial Lines professional to join the FINMAR team as a Senior Carrier Relationship Manager. This position is ideal for a someone with substantial Financial Lines broking or underwriting experience who is looking to expand their horizons. The individual will: + Take ownership of some of the most complex, high-value, and strategic carrier relationships. + Build connectivity, deliver data analytics, provide carrier advocacy, and manage pipeline engagement with these carriers. + Serve as a senior leader within FINMAR, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to FINMAR associates across the globe. **Performance Objectives** + **Strategic Relationship Management:** Own and deepen relationships with FINMAR’s most significant carrier partners. Serve as the primary liaison for strategic initiatives, complex negotiations, and senior-level discussions. Work closely with carrier counterparts to monitor and measure performance against agreed service levels. + **Advanced Subject Matter Expertise:** Leverage deep technical knowledge of Financial Lines products (e.g. D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, E&O, Crime, Cyber) to deliver value to carriers and advise internal stakeholders. Stay up to date on developments in the Financial Lines industry and help design FINMAR’s strategy to meet the needs of an evolving landscape. + **Data and Analytics:** Develop, analyze, interpret, and present detailed analytical client reports. Work with colleagues in Ipswich and Mumbai to develop novel analytics as new data becomes available through Broking Platform. Draw out actionable insights from the data to inform carriers’ strategic decision-making. + **Cross-Functional Collaboration with FINEX:** Act as a senior liaison to the FINEX broking and claims teams, offering insight into carrier appetites, market dynamics, and underwriting behaviors to both the FINEX and FINMAR teams. + **Mentorship & Leadership:** Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing support to junior and mid-level associates across the FINMAR team worldwide. Work with these colleagues to ensure all FINMAR data and services are delivered consistently, with integrity, accuracy and completeness. **Qualifications** **The Requirements** + 8+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong emphasis on Financial Lines. Broking or underwriting experience preferred. + Proven track record managing high-level client relationships. + Highly articulate and able to communicate and influence with confidence and credibility at all levels, delivery to suit audience and adjust behavior to suit the environment. + Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets; comfortable presenting to executive-level stakeholders. + Deep understanding of Financial Lines products and market dynamics. + Ability to drive conflict resolution without compromising client relationships. + Problem solving skills, innovative and creative. + Ability to work autonomously or within a team, while working against tight deadlines. + Must demonstrate attention to detail, with a high-level focus on quality. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple high-impact responsibilities. + Flexible approach and willing to undertake additional responsibilities within FMS as and when required. + BA/BS degree preferred. + Licenses as required by state law. **This position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until a sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.** **Compensation and Benefits** Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements for various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role base on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual qualifications, education/profession certifications, experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only). **Compensation** The base salary being offered for this role is $150,000 - $200,000.
