Job Summary:

As a Growth Equity Industrial Research Analyst within the US Equity Growth team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, you will focus on areas within the Industrials and energy sectors with the objective of producing actionable investment recommendations. You will have a particular but not exclusive focus on Small and Mid Cap Growth companies.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 Perform thorough fundamental analysis of a company’s business and financial position to assess the quality of the franchise, the sustainability of its competitive advantage and its growth potential.Utilize a variety of research methods to gain a differentiated perspective on a company’s prospects with an emphasis on identifying stocks that have the potential to meaningfully exceed consensus expectations and possess substantial future optionality.Identify important secular growth themes and companies poised to gain market share and build an enduring franchise.  Initiate and maintain written and verbal communications with Portfolio Managers focusing on the critical variables driving the investment thesis Build and maintain financial models to estimate future earnings and cash flow potential.
