Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets, has the following position available at the Ecolab Elk Grove Plant, a commercial dishwashing machine remanufacturing facility. 

Refurb/Assembly II associates rework, repair and assemble all returned Ecolab plumbing sub-assemblies, control head sub-assemblies, and pump motor sub-assemblies as they apply to industrial dish machines. Clean and test critical components identified for refurb. Reassemble industrial dish machines using refurbished components. Coordinate the breakdown and cleaning of machines and components. Ship and receive dish machines in the refurb area. All positions available are for the 1st shift, Monday - Thursday 6am to 4pm.


Main Responsibilities:

Can be assigned to any the following areas: Cleaning, Breakdown, Machine Prep, Machine Assembly, Motor Sub-Assembly, Plumbing Sub-Assembly, Components Test and Clean, Material Handling or Shipping.Basic electrical wiring, routine testing of mechanical / hydraulic / pneumatic components of assembled units and make necessary adjustment and /or corrections.Use and set up all required power tools and equipment.Work from procedure sheets, parts diagrams, specification sheets, or verbal/written instructions.If assigned to Refurb Shipping area, receive and ship all dish machines for the Refurb area. Verify the accuracy of serial numbers. Maintain dirty machine inventory and Preparation of bill of ladings. Work well as part of a team and have the ability to get along well with other people.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and strong analytical ability.Able to interpret color coding for basic wiring.Good Communication skills.Required knowledge of assembly techniques, test procedures, use of hand power tools, and working knowledge of mechanical equipment.Prefer courses in blueprint reading, basic electricity, basic plumbing or equivalent knowledge gained through past experience.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

20.25/hr Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
