As an Analytics Solutions Analyst within our Finance team, you will be tasked with defining, refining, and achieving set objectives for our firm daily. You will become an integral part of the Commercial Banking Global Finance and Business Management organization, where your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of data and management reports for regulatory operations. This role provides you with the opportunity to familiarize yourself with core business processes, develop metrics and management reports, and offer decision support through ad hoc reporting and data analytics. You will have the chance to contribute to high-impact initiatives that enhance profitability and efficiency across the Commercial Banking organization. Your key role will involve the ongoing development and maintenance of Business Intelligence tools, data management, data analytics, and reporting and analysis.

Job Responsibilities: 

Define, monitor, and report key managements metrics around the health of an operations programManage a high-volume and high-complexity reporting & dashboarding book of work, leveraging rigorous project management disciplinePartner with senior leaders in advancing the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, quality enhancements, etc.Define, design, and drive high priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas above – ranging from delivering business initiatives to engineering enabling capabilitiesDevelop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending IT enhancements to improve data qualityDevelop strong partnerships with IT application owners and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement while providing support around in-flight projects

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Need hands on experience with Programming languages: SQL, Python/RData visualization tool: Qlik Sense TableauAnalytical tools, e.g., AlteryxAbility to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in dataAbility to design and execute repeatable and scalable data solutions (extraction / mining / modeling / visualization)Effectively communicate insights/recommendations (verbal and written)Team player with a demonstrated strong work ethic.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Knowledge of Distributed file systems, e.g., Hadoop, Hive. Jira & MS Office is plus Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in financial services or commercial bankingGraduate/Post Graduate preferably with Computer/Finance/Statistics as core areas
