Global Access delivers sustainable, replicable, and scalable global strategies, policies, and solutions. We support the Pharma Vision and One Pharma Strategy. Our work enables affiliates to drive patient access locally while improving value for society, ecosystems, and business. We operate using a highly networked and agile model. This includes stable chapters and various flexible squads and work product teams. Our approach spans across disease areas, functions, and geographies.
As an Access Strategy Lead (ASL), you:Ensure rapid, and sustainable patient access to innovative offerings
Integrate Global Access expertise into development and commercialization strategies throughout the product lifecycle
Work across various teams (e.g., Disease Area, Early Stage Asset, Lifecycle, Commercial Leadership) to incorporate access considerations into strategies
Engage with diverse partners, including access colleagues in key markets and cross-functional global and affiliate teams
May partner with external groups (patient, advocacy, industry associations, policy makers) as needed
Typically align with a specific product or disease area, but contribute across the portfolio

Champion Access/Payers perspective on Commercial Leadership Teams as Primary Point of Contact (PPOC)
Synthesize access insights into compelling Disease Area Access strategic briefs
Shape commercialization strategies at asset and disease levels, integrating access insights and deliverables
Support access strategy adoption in key markets, providing Access Amplifier guidance and objection handler support
Develop and implement comprehensive, scalable access strategies balancing patient access with sustainable pricing
Collaborate with stakeholders to create access materials supporting global reimbursement and access processes
Ensure access insights inform disease area strategies, clinical trials, and business development opportunities
Who you areEducational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health economics, marketing, or medical field; MBA or other relevant graduate/postgraduate degrees preferred.
Experience: 8+ years in pharmaceutical access, with both global and local experience; multidisciplinary background advantageous.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of drug development, commercialization, and the current/future external environment; deep knowledge of key markets (US, China, EU4, UK, Canada).
Strategic Skills: Ability to translate complex scientific issues into effective access and business strategies; capable of \"zooming out\" for big picture and \"zooming in\" for details.
Leadership: Proven track record in matrix organizations; ability to lead diverse teams, make strategic decisions, and drive sustainable change for improved business performance.
Communication: Excellent skills in synthesizing and communicating sophisticated data and solutions to senior management; ability to deliver impactful messages to various partners.
Stakeholder Management: Strong relationship-building skills; ability to lead critical conversations and establish collaborative partnerships in multicultural environments.
